The St Swithun’s Way is 34 miles long and runs between Winchester and Farnham we are walking the path in linear stages – using public transport where possible. Join us for Stage 1 and do something different.
Meet at 8.15 at Staines Station for a car share to Farnham. If you are going direct meet the group at the free car park at Farnham Park Golf Course - off Folly Hill (A 287), between Farnham and Upper Hale.: GU9 OAU. Be at this car park no later than 9.15am. For Stage 1 we will catch the 9.48 a.m. bus from Farnham to Upper Froyle (the Hen and Chicken Inn) and walk back to Farnham. Early lunch stop at The Anchor, Froyle. The walk can be muddy but is fairly flat.
