Wessex Wanderer Railway Walk ~ Keynsham circular

Moderate 9 miles / 14.5 km

Group Avon

Trains: Bristol Temple Meads 10.48 arr. Keynsham 10.55 or Weymouth 08.53 arr. 11.19

Walk Eastwood Farm, Beese’s Tea Garden and Avon Valley Woodlands.

Bring change for ferry.

Return trains from to Bristol Temple Meads 16.18 or 17.20 or to Weymouth 16.56 or 17.56

 

WESSEX WANDERER RAILWAY WALKS

No need to book. Guided walks from stations on the Bristol to Weymouth Railway Line. Walks start at the arrival station indicated.  For linear walks buy a ticket that is furthest from your departure station.  Note that return tickets are much cheaper than two singles.

Non-members are welcome to join the walks, but after a couple of walks will be encouraged to join the Ramblers.

Please wear strong shoes/walking boots and bring waterproofs, drink and food.

Dogs – Registered Assisted Dogs only allowed on the walks.
