Strenuous 7 miles / 11.3 km
A less common ascent of Dumyat by Burnwarroch [the gash up the front] Visit Castle Law then over the summit of Dumyat and descend to Jerah. Return through the new plantation. NOW is a good time to visit this area while it can still be imagined as it was. In a few years the trees will alter the experience.

This is a circular walk
[ Map OS: 58 ] Registered assistance dogs only. Not suitable for children. UPDATE 2 - final recce on 23rd April confirms details as in the book. The B+ grade is applied to this walk because of the steep ascent into Burnwarroch on a little used path that requires sure-footedness in places. In wet conditions extreme care is required.
