This circular walk takes us over the Wendover Common, with views across the Vale of Aylesbury. Stating at Little Hampden we will head North onto the commons towards the outskirts of Wendover. Then head east through Ellesborough and past Chequers (country house of the Prime Minister). A few more miles takes us over Little Hampden Common and back to Little Hampden for a picnic. This circular walk is the first half of a longer figure of 8 walk being done on the same day.

Starting point: Little Hampden (look up the starting point in advance - do not solely rely on your sat nav and a postcode!)
Directions: Once you turn off Rignall Road follow the road for ~ 0.8 miles, passing Little Hampden church on your left. Keep going straight past the village green which is a triangle. A few hundred metres on your right you will find parking opposite a row of houses. Parking is limited so please car share where possible and park considerately.
