Start time: 9:40
Strenuous 20 miles / 32.2 km
This walk forms part of the Test Valley weekend away, see the Met Walkers Weekend Away forum if you would like to join for multiple days.
This pretty walk takes us further down the Test Valley Way. We start to meet the River Test much more from hereon, taking in some pretty villages and river scenes, including Harewood Forest, Chilbolton Meadows and Stockbridge village. Opportunity for 1-2 pub stops during the walk. Though the length is strenuous, the terrain is pretty flat, and the pace will be moderate. Bonus points for spotting wildlife!
Please bring with you your food and drink for the day and any beer money!
Terrain: Riverbank, water meadows, woods and countryside
Travel: Take 8:15 from London Waterloo (8:23 Clapham junction), arr. Whitchurch (Hampshire) 9:21. Buy a return to Mottisfont and Dunbridge.

This should take you about 12 mins. The group will wait for small train delays but please go straight from the station.
Return trains are relatively infrequent - the late evening option dep. 21:26 arr 23:25 (change at Southampton Central).
