This is a circular walk
The summit of National Trust’s May Hill is our target today! With it's distinctive summit trees and great views, it is a very popular walking destination. We shall begin from Plump Hill, above Mitcheldean, making our way to May Hill via St. Anthony's Well, the ASHA centre and the village of Longhope, taking in all manner of terrain. There is a particularly delightful, meandering ascent of the Hill itself. Expect lots of forestry and woodland, interspersed with beautiful, open, hilly English countryside, with lots of variety and interest included along the way. Oh! And a very nice pub as well.
