Start time: 9:50
(Estimated finish time: 13:00)
Leisurely 7 miles / 11.3 km
This walk and talk will be led by Anne who is a Ramblers volunteer Local Organiser. It will include a lovely coastal ramble with some information about the importance of keeping our coastline clean and healthy plus some information about some of the Ramblers campaigns they are currently involved in.
The walk overall is approximately 7miles but if you do not feel comfortable doing all of it, then there are plenty of opportunities for you to leave the walk early, just make sure to let us know. We plan to stop at Eastney Beach for lunch, which is also the halfway point.
The walk has a constant path with no obstacles and is relatively flat, making it suitable for everyone. There is only one road that we need to cross and it has a pedestrian crossing.
There are numerous toilet and refreshment facilities along the route.
We will meet outside Portsmouth Harbour Train Station with the intention to leave at 10:00. Please be there about 10 minutes before so we can get a headcount.
