Longnor, Chrome and Earl Sterndale

Moderate 10 miles / 16.1 km
From Longnor we make our way to Hollinsclough. From here we walk along Hollins Hill to Booth Farm and Stoop Farm. The next stage is the ascent of Chrome Hill followed by a route up Dowel Dale and then across the edge of Upper Dale and thence to Earl Sterndale via Glutton Bridge. The final leg is the descent from Earl Sterndale, along the bridle path to Green Lane and Beggars Bridge that takes us back to Longnor.
