Moderate pace; undulating walk in pretty Weald countryside.
The walk follows the Sussex Border Path to Cousley Wood, then around Bewl Water, before climbing up to Wadhurst Village.
Picnic lunch at Bewl Water.
About 5 hours walking; drop-out point at Wadhurst (10 miles/16km) for bus back to Wadhurst Station.
Meet at Wadhurst Station at 11.00
Victoria 09.43/Bromley South 10.00 (Dover Priory train) changing at Orpington to 10.20 (Hastings train) or Charing Cross 09.30/Waterloo East 09.33/London Bridge 09.40 (Hastings train) direct to Wadhurst arr 11.00.
Finish at Wadhurst Station.
