Known as the Garden of England, this is an historically soaked walk. Hever Castle, St Peter’s Church, Chiddingstone Castle, Tudor main street, Penshurst Castle. Potential for short muddy stretches.
Route: Hever station – Hever – Chiddingstone – Penshurst – River Medway – Leigh
Food: 40 minute break at Penshurst where there is a tea room and pub
