Group name: Cleeve
This group is a part of Gloucestershire Area.
Our groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Most groups organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.
You are advised to wear walking boots and to carry a small day sack with suitable rainwear and sweater. You should bring food and drink for a mid-morning break and/or lunch and a bottle of water.
Whilst great care is taken to ensure the safety of walkers, there are sometimes unforeseen hazards. Each individual is, therefore, responsible for their own safety.
Although some of us are dog owners the group has a policy of not having dogs on our group walks.
It is very unusual for walks to be cancelled, but if weather is particularly bad you should try to contact the leader for advice.
Supervised children are welcome on the short walks, but you should note that these might be the full 5 miles moving at a reasonable pace.
