Walk leaders for further details by Saturday evening for Sunday Half Day walks.

Dogs: Owners should check with walk leaders if the walk is suitable for dogs.
Individual dog owners are responsible for ensuring that their dog is kept under control.

The times published are the starting times, therefore walkers should arrange to be there at least 15 minutes prior to start.

Many of our walks  are off-road in rural areas so you will need suitable footwear and clothing for the walk you intend to join. Bring some food and drink and check the weather forecast.

Walk leaders may refuse to accept participants who in their opinion are inadequately equipped or unfit. When in doubt, contact the leader in advance. For the safety of yourself and others please follow any  instructions given by the leader. Although walking is a very low risk activity, no activity is completely without risk and it is your responsibility to behave sensibly and to minimise the potential for accidents.

We don't arrange particular walks for different age groups, but more walkers on the Thursday walks are retired than not. Our oldest walkers are well into their eighties and some still easily do the 11 mile walks! For those 60 years younger than that we might suggest....
