Herefordshire Walking Festival
Nine days of walking through the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Thirty seven walks guided among others by a geologist, an archaeologist, farmers, the ornithological club, a historian and a travel photographer.  There is even a 'virtual' walk, which you can follow on the internet day by day during the festival.  Long walks and short walks, there is something for everyone.

Our areas help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Areas help look after paths and green spaces, open up new places to explore and act as the leading voice on walking matters near you. They also support our local groups to organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.

Think green, try and car share. If you require a lift, contact the leader who may be able to organise a lift for you. The pick up point for Ross Group - MPCP = Millpoint Street Car Park. WRCP = Wilton Road Car Park. The pick up point for Leaden Vale Group - BSCP = Bridge Street Car Park. For a full days walk bring a packed lunch = BPL - and plenty to drink. For a half days walk bring a mid-morning refreshment = BMMR.
