Area name: Hertfordshire & North Middlesex
Our area of Hertfordshire and the northern boroughs of London has a wide variety of attractive countryside. Rolling empty farmland in the east, chalk downland on the Chiltern Hills. Extensive woodlands, meandering chalk streams. The whole area is studded with picturesque villages and ancient market towns. Beyond the built-up southern part there are narrow lanes with little traffic and an extensive, well maintained network of rights of way. It's great walking country. Our London boroughs can also take advantage of easy access to explore London.
