Whether you are looking for exercise, socialising, exploring the area or a wide range of types of walk, Mid Lancashire Area offer it all.

There are a number of groups in the area. They offer a wide range of types of walks from gentle shorter walks; medium length and grade walks; to more challenging walks.  The walks are spread all around the area and also further off, such as in the Lakes.

While the groups organise their own walk programme, these are combined and publishised to all Area members - and avialable through this site or Mid Lancashire Rambler's own site at:


That site also provides access to all facebook/Meet Up/ and group websites along with documented walks and GPX files both in the area and around the UK.

Our programme includes a range of walks including short, medium, long/stiff, coach and "Scramblers" walks (children 4-12 years old with accompanying adult)


Fylde group helps local people to enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking can boost health and happiness.

Garstang & District

The meeting place for all the walks organised by Garstang & District Group is the car park at the Community Centre in Garstang and we use shared cars to go to the starting point of each walk.
