Lancashire Young Peoples' Walking Group

Group name: Lancashire Young Peoples' Walking Group

This group is a part of Mid Lancashire Area.

Our activities include:
Groups aimed at people in their 20s and 30s, Groups aimed at people in their 40s

Our groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Most groups organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.

It's not just about the Walking! There's a great variety of social activities on offer throughout the year, ranging from a night at the pictures to trips aboard. In the past we have organised rounders, white-water rafting, ice-skating, and cricket, together with trips to comedy nights, fireworks, concerts and the theatre. We also organise weekends away to areas further afield staying at youth hostels and camp sites. New members are always welcome.
