Group name: Caernarfon/Dwyfor
This group is a part of North Wales Area.
Our activities include:
Path maintenance, Short and easy walks
We have around fifty walks each year, ranging from short, easy strolls to more challenging days in the high mountains. With a lovely coastline and the hills of Snowdonia, and much in between, there is always a walk to appeal. In the summer we travel further afield for our popular long weekend of walks, while throughout the year we have a range of social activities, from a dinner and quiz night in the winter to a summer beach barbeque. Putting something back, we also have a team of enthusiastic volunteers who carry out footpath repairs and improvements in our area.
We are a welcoming and friendly group of people, so whether you are new to walking or a regular walker interested in trying something new, please get in touch, or simply join us for one of our walks. You don’t need to be a member of the Ramblers, just try us out for two or three walks or spend a day with our footpath crew, and see how things go. Hopefully joining the Ramblers, Britain’s major campaigning organisation for walkers, will then seem a natural thing to do!
