Short and easy walks
Wellingborough Ramblers Group helps local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. We organise regular walks of different lengths led by local experts – a great way to get outside, explore the footpath network, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness.
We have an extensive programme of half and full day walks to suit most age groups and abilities. The programme includes midweek, weekend and evening walks, ranging from 4 to 14 miles. Usually around 4-25 people come on each walk. You’re very welcome to try walking with us. Just find a suitable walk from our programme. We also organise day trips, weekend and longer treks in other parts of England, and social events. We have a reputation for friendliness and we welcome new members.
The group was founded in 1991 and is part of the Ramblers. For further information about our group and for numerous pictures of our walks go to our website.
Ramblers encourages walking, protects the rights of way, defends the beauty of the countryside and has campaigned for many years for freedom to roam over uncultivated, open country.
