Group name: Rotherham Metro Ramblers
This group is a part of South Yorks & N.E.Derbyshire Area.
Ramblers' groups help local people enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. Most groups organise regular walks led by local experts – a great way to get outside, make new friends and discover how walking boosts your health and happiness. You’re very welcome to try walking with us, or to get involved in looking after paths and green spaces and opening up new places to explore.
Rotherham Metro Ramblers is a friendly, welcoming group that walks every Saturday and alternate Wednesdays. Walks to suit everyone take place in the local Rotherham area or in areas of South and West Yorkshire, the White and Dark Peak areas of Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. On the alternate Wednesdays there is a short walk option (4-6 miles) starting from Thorpe Hesley Church.SK 378960.
