Overview

A lovely walk through unspoilt countryside with beautiful views weather permitting!

We leave Birtley and make an ascent to the top of Harleys mountain, this is a climb but we will go at a steady pace , we then go through open fields and woodland into Lingen, we then make our way via the church and old earthworks to the edge of Deerfold and end by walking a medieval dyke. There is one steep descent which is not muddy but poles would be helpful.
