A linear walk from Blackwater through Hawley Woods, Blackbushe Airfield and Castle Bottom.
Advance booking is not required, but if you plan on attending this walk, please indicate this on Meetup if you can (see Website link), so others can see that there will be plenty of people going.

Walk details
The walk starts at Blackwater station before heading into Hawley Woods and down to Hawley lake. We then swing through another section of Hawley Woods before coming to a pub stop at the Crown and Cushion Minley.
After refreshments we will head out through the grounds of Minley Manor and then over to Blackbushe Airfield and onto the old runways.
We leave Blackbushe via Castle Bottom where we may see free roaming Exmoor Ponies. After leaving Castle Bottom we will head out through Yateley back to finish at Sandhurst.
Travel details
By public transport
If traveling from Reading take the 9.54am train to Gatwick Airport getting off at Blackwater station. After the walk there are trains once an hour from Sandhurst to Reading and also back to the start at Blackwater.
By car
Car Parking is available at Blackwater station. As a linear walk, you will need to take a train back at the end.
Please note there is no parking immediately at the walk finish at Sandhurst Station, although you may be able to park elsewhere in Sandhurst if you prefer, and then take a train to the start.
