Meet at Partick Station at 9.50 a.m. for the 10.08 train to Cardross. (Purchase return ticket to Cardross.)
A lovely walk over the hill from Cardross to Dumbarton. The route follows a long, steady incline up a farm road, descending to the cycle path along the River Leven. Lovely views east and west (hopefully!) over the Clyde.
Grade - Leisurely Plus
The farm road can be rough, muddy, wet and slippy and passes through two farm yards. Boots and poles recommended.
Please bring a drink and snack to have en route as we will have lunch slightly later than usual at the end of the walk in Levengrove Park.
