Overview

Starting from the playing field in Cosheston the route is west to Ringley Wells and Ferney Pits before turning inland to Upton Castle. From there we head to Jenkins Point and follow the riverside path back to the start. Farmland, quiet country roads, woodland and riverside paths.

Playing field car park ( free parking) at Lane Head. Go north on the road through Cosheston to the entrance on left for Cosheston Hall. Opposite the entrance is a narrow track on the right leading to the car park. Please park tidy.
