Cwmbran Parks and Canal

From the boating lake we follow the Afon Lwyd river, through Northfield park and continue following the river, through Gawr wood and then past the Krauf insulation factory. We take to the road for a short time befor joining the 492 cycle path and arrive at the Open Hearth pub in Sebastopol where we will stop for lunch.We then return following the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal to Henllys, walk alongside Cwmbran stadium and enter oakfield park, then a small housing estate over the railwaybridge and back to the car park.
