Overview

Four woods walk covering Brown Hill Plantation, Great Pen Wood, the Chase and Little Pen Wood. Starting from the car park north of Penwood Nurseries, we walk a loop through Brown Hill Plantation then cross in to Great Pen Wood to reach the A343 and cross in to the Chase. We amble round  the lake and round the Chase before recrossing the A343 then on to Penwood Heights and across Foxes Lane to the Trim Trail through Little Pen Wood then back to the Great Pen Wood to return to the car park.

The car park north of Penwood Nurseries. If driving from Newbury on the Andover Road immediately after crossing the river Enborne, take the left turn at Wash Water/ Follow the lane round a tight right hand bend, go under the bypass and the car park is on your right.
