We are the Watford & Three Rivers Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a lovely circular walk, mostly on good tracks and the canal towpath with some ascent back up to the start. There are tea shops and pubs in Bovingdon at the end of the walk. Please bring along a snack and drink for our morning break.
Meet in the High Street junction with Green Lane, Bovingdon, HP3 0HP, opposite the village well roundabout. Grid ref: TL016035. Park considerately around the village or by the Church.
Participants on this walk need to have suitable footwear and equipment and be able to walk the distance and terrain so please consider this before booking. If you are unsure then please contact the walk leader before booking to ascertain whether this walk is suitable for you.
The leader has set a limit of 20 walkers and requires you to book.
