Overview

An overland walk between two rail stations via Stanage Edge, Redmires Dam and Ringinglow

Catch the 09:14 Hope Valley service from Sheffield Stn (leader will join at Dore) to Hathersage. Alternatively come out on the 08:46 272 service to Hathersage.  
Everyone should meet at the seating area by the Toilets opposite the bus stop for an 09:45 start to the walk.
Linear Walk  via North Lees, Stanage Edge, Stanedge Pole, Redmires Dams, White Stones, Rud Hill, Lady Canning's Plantation, Round Walk route through Limb Valley and Ecclesall Woods to Abbeydale Road.

Two steady climbs - relatively easy going on the first up to Stanage but may be rough and boggy going up to White Stones and Rud Hill.
Facilities at start of walk. There are just 5 stiles but plenty of gates.
