Overview

From Mountnessing Windmill, following the infant River Wid for a while, through fields and alongside paddocks to the charming village of Blackmore. Cafes and pubs for lunch or picnic on the Green. Returning on St Peter's Way, Beggar Hill and via Fryerning Church to Mountnessing. Some road walking. 

UPDATE FROM LEADER:

  • Probably  MUDDY, so you might want to bring POLES. Also there are numerous stiles.
  • Lunchtime options: Blackmore Tea Rooms; Megarry's open for hot drinks & cakes;  +2 pubs
