We are the Woking Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Please note that this walk has one very steep, prolonged ascent. It is a circular walk from Newlands Corner car park, descending to the Pilgrims Way before climbing (very steeply!) back up to the North Downs Way above Silent Pool. We'll then descend on the north side of the Downs before coming up through spectacular woodland on our return to the start.
Hills, varied woodland and some open fields...and hopefully some bluebells
Path walking and a couple of climbs up the Downs, the steepest being that from Silent Pool, which has been featured on many previous group walks.
Possibly mud in places if it has been wet. Walking poles recommended.
