meet in Holly Hill car park by 10am for bus at 10.08 - bring bus pass if you have one.

We use a bus and ferry on this walk (cash only on ferry). Bus (X5) at 10.08 from Holly Hill to Old Netley. Walking back to Holly Hill. We go S via Hound to Royal Victoria Country Park. Then to Hamble for ferry (£2.50 cash only), shore path to Holly Hill Woodland Park. Please bring bus pass if you have one, plus refreshments for mid-walk break. Cafe stop and toilets after 1.5 miles and toilets in Hamble. Good underfoot, some mud on paths at Holly Hill
22/03/24: route walked. Ground conditions generally very good - firm and mostly hard surfaces. Some soft conditions and water in the final section at Wendleholme, but fine with boots or waterproof trainers.
