Overview

9.5 miles Picturesque walk starting from the market town of Settle this walk takes in Jubilee and Victoria Caves and the waterfalls of Catrigg Force and Stainforth Force before returning along a stretch of the Ribble.

Catrigg Force is particularly spectacular. .

This is not a fell walk but the initial paths out of Settle are steep and continue for the first mile. After the first mile the walk is generally flat or downhill. Highest point 380 metres.

Meet: Greenfoot car park. Lower Greenfoot off Ingfield Lane. Settle Sat Nav BD24 9FH This is for Falcon Manor Directions: From Preston: A59 to Gisburn, left at mini roundabout onto A682. Continue A682 to the T junction at Long Preston. Left A65. Continue A65, right turn at roundabout onto B6480 signed Settle. Before entering the centre of Settle turn right at the Falcon Manor hotel onto Ingfield Road signed CP and Rugby Ground. The CP is just beyond the rugby ground. CP is pay and dispaly but plenty of street parking available. About 38 miles/one hour.
