Spring flowers should be found in hedgerows, field boundaries, pine forests and open farmland, as we make our way up and around Penyard Hill.

We will probably have a scattering of flower experts with us to answer questions on plant identification. They might even argue with each other over species.....which will be quite entertaining!

There's also an opportunity to have lunch at the Weston Cross Inn, if you book ahead by ringing 01989 562759. Please remember to take your boots off, before you go into the pub!

From Ross, head towards Gloucester on the A40. After 1.5 miles, in Weston under Penyard, turn right just after the mini roundabout at the school sign. Then turn immediately right again. Park on the grass below the church.
