We are the Dorset 4050 Ramblers. We are a friendly, mixed-age group of walkers.
The walk starts in an easterly direction through part of the village and onto the Priest's Way to Swanage. There will be a short break in Swanage before continuing in a westerly direction along the South West Coast Path (SWCP) to Durlston Park and Castle. Here we will take a break for lunch, we then follow the SWCP west to Dancing Ledge and Winspit before heading inland back to our start point. This is a toilet friendly walk with toilets at the start, Swanage, Durlston Castle and at the finish.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. There is a chance that some parts of the SWCP could be muddy so good walking shoes or boots are recommended.
At the end of the walk there is the Square and Compass Public House where low calorie cider, pasties and bar snacks can be purchased.
Worth Matravers car park - From the B3069 take the road (Kingston Lane) signposted to Worth Matravers. Parking is via voluntary donation.
