We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Linear to Chilham Station. An undulating moderate 12 mile walk along the Wye and Crundale Downs, with views over the surrounding countryside (designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), passing the Wye Crown Memorial, the Devil's Kneading Trough, Godmersham Park, and the pretty village of Chilham. (Map: E137, L189).
Lunch: Please bring all the food and drink you need with you, there will be a picnic lunch stop.
Meet at Wye Station at 11.02.
Travel: Victoria 09:31 (direct train - Ramsgate service), calling at Sevenoaks at 10:08 and Ashford International at 10:56 - arriving Wye at 11:02. (It is possible to reduce journey times by taking the high speed service from St Pancras, and changing at Ashford to catch the slower train from Victoria, but this is a more expensive option).
Ticket/Fare: Buy Off-Peak Day Return to Chilham.
Finish: Chilham Station at about 5pm.
