What we do

The main focus of our group is, of course, to organise walks for the enjoyment of members.

However, we also aim to ensure that footpaths in our group territory are kept in good condition by reporting problems to local councils and  the North York Moors National Park. We also undertake some path inspections for North York Moors every other year.

We  comment and if necessary object to planning applications seeking to modify public rights-of-way.

The activities are coordinated by the Cleveland Group committee and details of their activities  are reported in the  Cleveland Group Newsletter which is circulated to all local members in February and August.

Any member who would like to join us would be most welcome. Please get in touch using the email link .

The newsletter and full details of the Committee's activities are can be found on their website .

The minutes and reports from the AGM 4/12/23 are also on their website together with information on a boundary walk (on the News page }

We are also looking for volunteers
