What we do

The Clitheroe 50K

This walk is circular, commencing from and returning to Clitheroe. It was devised to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2017. Long-distance walkers/runners will enjoy tackling it in one go. However, sections of it make lovely circular walks of your own devising.

The Clitheroe 60K

This is a challenging and scenic long-distance path with 5,000 feet of ascent in quiet, little-known country, taking in Longridge Fell, Grindleton Fell and Pendle Hill. We devised it to celebrate the Ramblers Diamond Jubilee.

Go to www.clitheroeramblers.co.uk or Clitheroe's Tourist Information Office for more information.

Organised walking further afield

North East Lancashire Coach Rambles

If you want to get away from our area, our partners in N E Lancs. Area organise coaches once a month from which a variety of walks is led. The coaches pick up in Ribble Valley. Go to www.coach-rambles.org.uk Tel. 01254 235049

Dales Rail

Using some sections of track generally only open to freight, this service on Sundays throughout the summer, gives us access to Three Peak country and the Settle-Carlisle line. There are organised walks from it or you can do your own thing. Go to DalesRail.com
