Recreational Route: Southern England

Greensand Way

Haslemere to Hamstreet near Ashford 169km/105 miles

Another attractive RA-inspired walking route, this time along the undulating Greensand ridge of Surrey and Kent, crossing Ide Hill and Toy's Hill, orchards and hop fields. Link routes connect the path with nearby towns and the North Downs Way.

Part of the South East Walks network.

Connects with Darent Valley Path (via link routes), Downs Link (see South Downs Way), Medway Valley Walk, North Downs Way (E2, via link routes), Saxon Shore Way (E9), Socratic Trail, Stour Valley Walk (Kent), Vanguard Way, Wealdway, Wey-South Path.
