  • Willesley Conkers Visitor Centre, Donisthorpe Woodland Park, Oakthorpe, Saltersford, Willesley Wood, Moira Furnace 13.5km/8.5 miles EASY
    Four routes exploring green spaces reclaimed from a colliery land, including the Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail and Ashby Canal.
  • Calke Walk Circular from Staunton Harold Reservoir via Ticknall 6.5km/4 miles
    Through the undulating Calke Uplands with views of the Trent Valley
  • Coton Circular Circular from Coton Wood via Top Tree Wood, Coton and Hill Close Copse 9.5km/6 miles
    Linking six new woodlands in the Mease Lowlands
  • Monks and Moorings Circular from Branston Water Park via Battlestead Hill and Shobnall 10.5km/6.5 miles
    Ancient and new woodlands, reservoirs, canals, a major leisure centre and historic parkland on the edge of Burton.
  • Best Kept Villages Circular from Coton Wood via Coton, Lullington and Netherseal 14.5km/9 miles
    Visits old and new woodlands and some of the prettiest villages in the Mease Lowlands.
  • Needwood Circular Circular from Jackson's Bank via Newchurch and Newborough 14.5km/9 miles
    Through ancient Needwood Forest including three sites opened up by the Duchy of Lancaster.
  • Spires and Stiles Circular from Coton Wood via Linton, Rosliston and Coton 14.5km/9 miles
    Linking six key forestry sites, villages and rural agricultural land in the Mease Lowlands.
  • Reservoirs Walk Circular from Staunton Harold Reservoir via Calke Park, Ticknall, Foremark Reservoir and Stantons Wood 16km/10 miles
  • Oaks and Oaklands Circular from Staunton Harold Reservoir via Calke Park, Hayes Park Wood, Foremark Reservoir, Stantons Wood 20km/12.5 miles
    Two walks linking the two largest reservoirs in the Forest through the Calke Uplands.
  • Coal Tips to Country Parks Bagworth Heath Woods, Bagworth, Thornton Reservoir, Old Hays 16km/10 miles
    Former coalmining sites transformed into woodlands and country parks on this walk that also has 11km/7-mile and 8km/5-mile options.
  • The Grange Walk Snibston Discovery Park and Donington-le-Heath then circular via Stanton and Battram Wood 22.5km/14 miles
    Celebrating the industrial heritage of the area with former coal mines, working quarries and new woodlands.
  • Branston - Jacksons Bank Circular from Branston Water Park via Rangemore, Jacksons Bank, Yoxhall, Alrewas and Barton-under-Needwood 35km/22 miles
    Through the Trent Valley and Needwood Forest, visiting many important National Forest sites and the Trent and Mersey Canal.
