Three short trails exploring this famous Isle of Dogs development which, as well as its office buildings, shops and services, includes 3.9ha of landscaped open spaces, home to 25 tree and 88 flower species. The open spaces trail is the longer and more roundabout route, and the leaflet includes notes on planted flowers. The architecture trail visits many of the same locations but with notes on architecture and public art, while the transitions trail traces the history of the development. Easily reached from Canary Wharf Underground and DLR stations.

Various routes and distances EASY
Numerous routes through the well-known redeveloped area around West India Docks and the Isle of Dogs, interconnecting with Docklands Light Railway services.

A varied selection of short and easily reached walks visiting many of the attractive open spaces in Barking and Dagenham. from historic Victorian parks to the nature reserves, and riversides including the Thames estuary (on the Dagenham Dock walk), developed by the Just Walk health project. There are also led walks and the opportunity to develop your own routes.
The first four walks listed are fully accessible. The others are easy walks but do include some rough path surfaces and awkward obstacles such as squeeze stiles and gates.

Leyton Loops

A network of signed easy health walks around Leyton. There are nine separate short legs that link together to create one large loop and several smaller ones, as well as a spur to Langthorne Park. The individual walks are:
- A. Leyton Underground station to Coronation Gardens 0.5km/0.3 miles
- B. Coronation Gardens (Leyton High Road) to Walnut Tree House and Leyton Youth Centre 1km/0.5 miles
- C. Leyton Youth Centre to St Mary's Parish Church 1.5km/1 mile
- D. St Mary's Church to Marsh Lane 1km/0.5 miles
- E. Marsh Lane (Church Road) to Ruckholt Road 2.5km/1.5 miles
- F. Ruckholt Road to Leyton Underground station 1km/0.5 miles
- G. Leyton High Road to Oliver Road via Coronation Gardens 250m
- H. Oliver Road to Ruckholt Road 0.5km/0.3 miles
- J. Leyton Underground station to Langthorne Park 1.5km/1 mile
The whole route is on firm, mainly level surfaces and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs if you are careful.

Clear walk descriptions and photos are used as well as a sketch map to indicate the direction of the route.
