The route was developed by a partnership of local authorities, the Broads Authority and businesses and launched in 2005.
Public Transport
Most locations on the route can be reached by public transport. There are rail stations at Norwich, Brundall, Buckenham, Cantley, Reedham, Berney Arms and Great Yarmouth, with connections at Norwich for services to London and other major cities. Various buses also serve the route, and a scheduled riverbus connects Norwich with Whitlingham Country Park and Coldham Hall. If you come by boat there are various free 24-hour moorings.
