A route linking the river Severn and the Cotswolds through rich and attractive countryside in the Vale of Evesham, Worcestershire's "heritage garden", with villages, hills, rivers and, in springtime, plenty of glorious flower displays.
Originally opened to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977, the route is supported by Wychavon District Council.

Public Transport
Buses to Holt Fleet are very irregular. However there are regular buses on Mondays to Saturdays to Ombersley, and less frequent buses on Mondays to Saturdays to Shrawley, both around 3km/2 miles from the route: these connect to Stourport and Worcester where there are good rail services. Alternatively, Stourport is around a 10km/6-mile walk from Holt Fleet along the Severn Way. Winchcombe has buses on Mondays to Saturdays to Cheltenham, for good rail services. There are stations at Droitwich and Evesham, a little off the route, and buses serve several other points.
