Short Group Walks Communications Officer

Join Britain’s biggest walking charity to help more people enjoy the benefits of walking.

We are looking for a highly skilled Short group walks communications officer.

This role will support and implement planned and reactive communications for the short group walks programme, playing an important role as the Walking for Health programme integrates fully into the wider Ramblers organisation.

The successful candidate will play a leading role in communicating across a number of channels with a range of stakeholders, including: those involved with the management of local walking schemes; Ramblers groups; volunteers who lead walks; walkers; potential walkers; potential volunteers.

Contract: Fixed term
Salary: £28-30,000 per annum, depending upon experience

Data Protection Officer

A fantastic fixed term role has been created to work with Ramblers, Britain’s biggest walking charity. If you have excellent knowledge and skills around data compliance, this is the role for you.

We are looking to appoint a skilled and experienced individual to:
Liaise with people across the business to advise on data protection compliance matters in preparation for GDPR
Develop and implement a data protection compliance framework.
Promote compliance awareness across the business.

Role: Data Protection Officer
Contract: Fixed term
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum depending upon experience
