Communications Support Officer WfH

The Ramblers is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced individual to provide excellent customer service to the general public and Walking for Health schemes. You will also support the wider Walking for Health team and will be involved with the communications and marketing of this fantastic health programme. 

Walking for Health is England’s largest network of health walk schemes, run by the Ramblers and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Essential Requirements include:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills
  • Excellent IT literacy, including a good knowledge of Microsoft packages and experience of using and administrating databases
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to plan and manage own work schedule, using good administrative and organisational skills
  • Ability to understand issues and interpret information requirements to aid problem solving
  • An understanding and appreciation of the needs of the user and the importance of a user focused service
