Ramblers map library
The library at Ramblers main office has the complete range of Ordnance Survey Explorer 1:25 000 and Landranger 1:50 000 maps. These are available for loan to members only for a small fee (see below) plus post and package. A maximum of 10 maps may be borrowed at any one time.
All new Explorer maps showing new access land are available only as Aqua3 weatherproof maps which are much better suited to the British climate. Older Explorer maps and all our Landrangers are still available as conventional paper maps.
To order maps, fill in the form below and submit it to us at least five days before you need the maps. We will try to fulfil any map order, but please note that this is a popular service and maps may not always be available. If this is the case we will contact you in sufficient time.
You can also order maps by post or phone from our main office: if ordering by post please include all the details below, including your membership number and when you need the maps.
There's no need to send money with your order as an invoice will be enclosed with the maps.
To work out which sheets you need, use the Ordnance Survey website. If you're walking a long distance route, you'll find we list map sheet numbers for selected routes in our paths and routes section.
