Ramblers Corporate Identity Review
04 March 2008
Spencer du Bois, a company specialising in not-for-profit
corporate identity has been retained by the RA.
General Council has placed responsibility for a review of
corporate identity with the Board of Trustees who have approved
a wide ranging, yet tightly managed brief to review issues
connected to -and flowing from-public perception of the
Ramblers' Association.
At this stage, what is planned is merely an appraisal of issues
related to corporate identity. Any recommendations regarding
corporate identity would need to gain Board of Trustee approval.
Details of the review are being communicated to the wider
membership via General Council and Scottish Council. Welsh
members will also be duly informed.
The decision to retain Spencer Du Bois follows a lengthy process
of external consultation with a wide variety of important
partner and kindred organisations. To supplement these findings,
opinion will be sought from the RA’s membership who will be
fully informed of every stage of the review process, which runs
across the course of this year.
