Ramblers Easter Walks Weekend

10-13 April 2009

This Easter, the Ramblers is offering walkers the chance to take part in 250 free, led walks around the country which celebrate young shoots, new sun, spring air and – in some cases – eggs of the non-hatching chocolate variety.

The walks – many of which are a family friendly distance of under 6 miles - vary in length and tone ensuring there is a stroll to suit all tastes. All, however, have been chosen by experts and have a strong Spring theme; they include daffodils, bluebells and Easter egg walks.

Ruth Wembridge, Head of Membership Recruitment at the Ramblers said: “What better way to celebrate the Easter delights of young spring sun, new shoots, buds, birds and bells than joining a free, expert-led walk through some of Britain’s loveliest countryside.”
