Each day, Ramblers volunteers like you give their time, knowledge and skills to help everyone everywhere enjoy walking and protect the places we all love to walk. You make everything we achieve at the Ramblers possible. That’s why we’re running a programme of volunteer development days across England, Scotland and Wales.
The day offers the opportunity to share and discuss your ideas with other volunteers, and provides training to help you develop your skills and expertise. We run full day, morning and afternoon workshops. From leading walks to managing group and area finances or from basics of rights of way to recruiting volunteers there’s a workshop for everyone.
The events are absolutely free and taking place around Britain. The workshops run from 9.30am to 4pm with lunch and light refreshments being provided. You can either go to one morning workshop and one afternoon workshop or one full day workshop. If you’d like to do more than this you can join us for more than one volunteer development day.
