Natasha Clayton has been appointed as our interim chief executive.
With a wealth of experience in the charitable sector, Natasha will be leading the organisation forwards while a permanent chief executive is appointed.
Des Garrahan, chair of the board of trustees, said: “I am delighted with Natasha’s appointment. She joins us at a time when there is huge demand for our work. Natasha will be responsible for leading the Ramblers forward during this busy time.”
Natasha’s most recent role was interim chief executive at Farm Africa, where she was previously chief operating officer. She’s also worked at the Prince’s Charities and Diabetes UK and is trustee of Transparency International.
Natasha said “I’m really excited to join the Ramblers. Walking is something I’ve always loved, since growing up in the Yorkshire countryside.
“The work that the Ramblers does in ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the sense of freedom that comes from walking is hugely important and I’m really looking forward to making a contribution to that work.”
