+ Ultra-lightweight with 800-fill power down that makes it very warm. The water-repellent finish helps to shed snow or light rain. The jacket’s mini-sized baffles carefully control where the down spreads.
– At £240, it’s the most expensive on test here. There are no internal pockets, which are helpful for a phone or batteries in cold conditions. The fabric does have a slight plasticky feel.
VERDICT: We love the lightness of this jacket and how small it packs away. It’s another reliable and impressive offering from the ever-popular Patagonia brand.
