+ This super-light jacket comes in a staggering ten colour options and packs away into its own pocket. It operates well as a ‘just in case’ waterproof and dries quickly.
- The minimal storm guards (particularly on the pockets) allow water to penetrate the zips. The hood has no wired peak and as a consequence flaps around in the wind.
VERDICT: It’s difficult to criticise a jacket this lightweight, especially one that comes in at well under £100. However, it isn’t the most durable, or a jacket for all weathers. The material could be more breathable, although those clever people at HH have included pit zips to aid the process.
